Reading this book made me immediately go looking for the author's other novels. This book was intense with both a gripping plot and a remarkable sensitivity to the texture of the character's lives. Reviewers have put this author into the same ranks of Judity Rossner and Scott Turow. The author dares his readers to identify the point at which their actions would diverge from the main character's actions.
