I really wanted to like this one, but was disappointed and found it dreary and boring. The author has written for TV - Joan of Arcadia and Judging Amy - shows that I enjoyed watching, so I kept reading long after I would normally have given up. However, Ms. Hall writes well and I'd likely read her next effort.
