Hi Everyone, I know this is probably a dumb question , but i went to a garage sale and they had paper bags full of books for a buck, you couldnt pick and chose which ones you wanted ( I read romance). There were some romance that I wanted along with other stuff. and I figured for a dollar it was a great deal.  There are some Authors that I've never read and I dont know what types of books they are. I put a deal on my shelf for them..But I'm not sure what to call them , not romance? maybe Mystery or thrillers?   heres some of the authors names

Gayle Wilson

Heather Graham

Jassmine Cresswell

thanks for any help, Lisa

Hi Lisa!

Quite honestly, it depends on the specific book with Heather Graham and Jasmine Cresswell as they write both romances and suspense. Cresswell is usually more romantic suspense than traditional suspense while Graham writes some that are more traditional thrillers. I'm not familiar with Gayle Wilson so no help there.

Good luck!

ETA: Oh, and to answer your question --I'd probably i.d. the books as suspense if they aren't romances.

I don't recognize any of the names but that's not saying a whole lot.  I checked at SYKM and only Heather Graham shows up.  She writes mysteries as well as a series that is classified as "Romantic Suspense".

Gayle Wilson wrote historical romances (Regency etc) and Intrigue (both Harlequin imprints); she's moved on to romantic suspense. I've always enjoyed Wilson and Cresswell; have read 2 Grahams from some years ago but none of her current. A friend read her trilogy last fall and loved the books. I think Wilson could be romantic/suspense, while Cresswell and Graham lean a bit more suspense/thriller/touch of romance. More hardcore you might say.

Cresswell wrote maybe a couple Harlequin Intrigues, some Regency romances (on my keeper shelf), and some Second Chance at Love titles as Jasmine Craig - I've always enjoyed her books.

Great deal!
