After a kidnapping attempt and a theft of valuable gems, Linda, her brother Bob, and their friends Larry and Kathy are off on a hunt by horseback for a dangerous ring of thieves. They follow a string of clues to Horseshoe Canyon, the site of a secret and legendary turquoise deposit deep in the desert. But it may be a trap set by the clever criminals! Linda and her friends fight for their lives, while trying to find the missing gems and return home in time for the horse show at the famous Alpha Ranch.
