Very good pictures to show young children outer space and especially Mars. Practical and informative text for children to learn about space.

This is a science book all about the planet Mars. It is a childs book and has lots of great photos. This book has some early photos of Mars taken by the Viking Spacecraft, explains what it would be like to live on Mars, how long a day is, how long a year is, what the surface of Mars is like. There are some maps of the surface and photos of the surface and the many differences. Explains some experiments that scientists performed on Mars. This book presents some very interesting facts about Mars.

Wonderful photos (well, how could there not be?), writing is more for 9 to 12 year olds.
