Hi everyone. Since we don't have a mythology section I'm posting this here. I love Greek and Roman mythology. I have a few novels, but I'd like to find more. My favorites are Hades and Persephone retellings but I'm also open to other good novelizations of Greek or Roman myths. Here are some of the books I have read and enjoyed:

Goddess of Spring by P. C. Cast (and her other Goddess and Parthanon books)

Dazzling Brightness by Roberta Gellis

Love Underground by Alicia Fields

Sirena by Donna Jo Napoli

P.S. I just bought the first Percy Jackson and the Olympians book since the movie was wonderful, but I have not read it yet

I liked Sirena too (her other books are good as well).  Have you read Radiant Darkness by Emily Whitman yet?

Cheryl, I"m reading "The King Must Die" by Mary Renault.  It's the story of Theseus.  There is a sequel as well, "The Bull from the Sea."  Oldies, but goodies!

Thank you Alisa! That book sounds fantastic. I will put that one on my list asap. You know, it's funny. You and my sister have the same name, which is odd because it's fairly rare. Do you pronounce it A-lisa, or like Alissa/Alyssa?

Vicky-thank you. I will have to check into those books.
