Well, congratulations, Cynthia, on the Chicago win!  I agree that prices for tickets are outrageous.  I would have to take out a second mortgage on my house to afford to go to Foxborough and get a seat from where I could see something.  :)

Bettyjean - all I can say is Wow.  Apparently all the Manning mojo is being taken up by Peyton big time.  Do you think Eli may have an injury no one is talking about?  I know a couple years ago he had a problem with plantar fasciitis; if that flared up again it would certainly affect his play.  Believe me, I know.    :(

Congratulations Cyn!  Your Bears prevailed.   I KNEW we would blow it in the end.  Joy, I keep wondering if something is wrong with Eli too.  I did catch the announcers talking about him not setting his feet right a few times.  It's just so bizarre.  My yelling at the tv chased everyone out of the room again and I knew it would end badly, so at the very end I changed the channel and watched the score on my ipad.

I could see we had the ball for a real long time and for just a second thought maybe this time we'd get it together, but I still refused to watch.  I knew they'd blow it & I'd be so mad, I'd end up not being able to sleep.  My son had been watching in his room & saw them work down the field. He came into the living room insisting I watch the end.  Worst. Timing. Ever. He turned the game on 1 second before THE INTERCEPTION and just in time to hear the annoucer say that's the game.  I couldn't get to sleep till 2:30 am and my kid said he slept like a rock. lol.

Bettyjean's team is the New York Giants, and Alex's team is the Buffalo Bills.

Wow, Alex & Mimi, what good games your teams played yesterday.  I thought the Bills were going to pull that game out, Alex, and I was darn sure the Saints were going to march right out of Foxborough with a win.  Sorry Mimi, that they didn't.   (well, maybe a little sorry)

Between watching the Patriots and the Red Sox last minute heroics yesterday I'm completely exhausted today!

Congratulations Joy!  That game was so exciting at the very end.  I don't watch baseball, but congratulations on your Sox too.  And sorry Mimi, I just read that your team is the Saints.  I love Brees & even though they lost, they are doing really great this season.  Hope that Graham is ok.

Sorry Alex, I thought your Buffalo would get that one too.  Cyn, I still have my lucky clothes in winter storage - but I just might have to get them down a little sooner than usual.   But I am starting to think we should continue stinking to get a first round pick for next year.  We need some serious help.

Congrats Joy,  my head is still spinning from the Pats win.  Only good thing to come out of the past weekend was that the Jets lost.
