A beautiful Bible inside and out. I just bought this Bible for myself and I adore it. Never has reading the Bible been easier to read or clearer to understand. My last Bible was a very small NIV, but I never realized that size made a difference until now.
The leather is very soft, and the dragonflies and swirls on the cover are 3D, so you can run your fingers across it and actually feel the detail!
Includes:
-Very useful footnotes
-Concordance with introduction on how to use it
-8 color maps
-Words of Christ in red
This Bible has no extra stuff like some of the other children's Bibles, such as quizes, etc. However, I don't think a Bible, children's or otherwise, needs much more than what is listed above.
All in all, this Bible is great for a first, second, third.... tenth Bible! This one has thus far proven to be sturdy so you might not need a new one for awhile.
