Please use this thread to post thanks for the RAOK gifts, wishes granted, and anything else you are thankful for here on PBS.  Let's try to keep the ***RAOK*** and ***I Wish*** threads easier to check for wishes to grant and goodies to request.

Note: please be sure to thank people who grant your RAOK wishes. It's not necessary to do it here in the thread if you prefer to PM to let the sender know you received your gifts. Unfortunately, things do get lost in the mail. In addition, senders have mentioned that they have not heard from the people they have sent things to, and wonder if the items have been received. We hesitate to keep sending to someone who does not acknowledge gifts. If someone declines your request, that may be the reason.  Senders contact me in frustration, saying that they do not know if items are received and that it is usually the same people who do not correspond. Most have decided not to send to those requestors again. It is sad, but necessary to them. So please respond in some way.

A general thank you to everyone who sent me used greeting cards this past year. We use them to make picture books for children. We gave out 350 picture books at our annual Trunk or Treat event. I wish you could have seen the delight on the faces of children as they got their own picture book to take home. It was so rewarding. We start again this month working toward next year and we always need more cards to work with. Animal pictures are especially good, but any used cards are appreciated: Christmas, birthday, picture postcards, Easter, etc. Thank you.

thanks for the postcard Vicky. Now that one would be awesome to use. It's so fancy! I love them. so many different kinds, types & designs all in an effort to perk up their appearance to disguise their purpose. Gotta love people back in the days of modesty. this card is on my display frame also. Hubby just shakes his head at this farm raised girl and her unique interests.
