This is where we post our wishes - maybe things we collect, something we can no longer find in our area, things we have always wanted etc, etc. No wish is too big, you never know what will turn up.

We must abide by PBS rules :
You may not wish for money, or monetary donations for any charities ( you may ask for things you collect for charities, like stamps, can tabs etc., but not for money. This includes 'gofundme' sites)
No buying or selling or advertising.
No wishing for credits (Credits are bought, sold and loaned only in the Book Bazaar forum, or use the PBS Kiosk to purchase)

Do NOT ask for books, since books are swapped on the site and book deals are made in the Book Bazaar. You may not ask for free books of any kind sorry. (Unpostables are given away in the damaged book thread of the Bazaar and sometimes in the RAOK thread)

Our own RAOK rules: Please

Do not offer payment for the things you are sent, including postage. RAOKs are given freely, asking nothing in return except a thank you. Try to pay it forward, maybe grant a wish yourself.
Please limit your wishes to no more than 10. Lists could get very long. You can always edit as you go along.
Unlike many other forums, we ask that you do NOT reply within the threads. We do everything by PMs between members. This keeps the threads clutter free and easy to use. When you go to the wishes, you see wishes. In the RAOK, it's all things we are giving away - simple and easy. And please do not post your address in the thread - it's all done via PM.
Please, if you post wishes, be prepared to check in and answer your PMs. It's frustrating when people want to grant your wishes and don't hear from you!

You do need to say THANK YOU. See our monthly ****thank you thread****, or you may acknowledge what you have received via a personal PM to the members who granted your wishes. This is very important if you wish to continue to receive things from others.

Tips :
Check the RAOK forum before you post wishes -- things may already be there for the asking!

If you see a wish you can grant, just PM the poster for their address.

And please remember, if one of the moderators contacts you about a posting, we are only trying to keep the forum running smoothly and according to PBS rules. If you are asked to change, move, or delete your post, please do so. Most of you know the PBS team does get involved to edit posts and accounts do get suspended if rules are broken. We hate to see that happen to our fellow RAOKers!

If you have questions, feel free to contact me.

Happy November! heart

My wishes are:

- Coke Codes

- Chamomile or black tea (the first one works great at helping me relax, the second has helped with problems from allergies)

- My long shot wish this month is for a polka dot scarf/bandanna (something like the famous Rosie the riveter one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosie_the_Riveter). I have recently got interested in learning to pin curl my hair and would love a cute scarf to cover it with while it dries.

Thanks for all the good wishes on my move over the last couple of months.  I've arrived back in IL and am in the process of settling in. :)

My wishes this month:

- Bluejay, owl, or spider stuff, especially jewelry, knick-knacks, art
- pretty feathers (natural, dyed, from your pet bird, etc) - I'd especially like a few naturally green ones
- smallish (3/4" or less) silver colored bells/bell charms, prefer "bell-shaped," but a few *tiny* round jingle bells would be okay, too.

So my first wish might seem a bit early for you guys... but Christmas Decor. I'm one of those people who love to do Christmas early and I have no decorations. So anything, mini plastic trees, garland, tensil, ordements, anything you have lying around you don't plan to use this year I would be so grateful for.

I also bring back last months wish of gaming things:

wiimotes

wii games

gamecube games

gamecube memory card

3ds

ds games

Also, if anyone has a bluetooth or headset, I would greatly appriciate one, there's something wrong with my phone's speaker making it so I have to yell to be heard.

Oh! Stamps, if anyone has way to many envelopes and stamps, I would really love to have some. I want to start writing letters to people but I can't afford the stamps.

Baby wishes.

Dunkin Donut coupons to get any size iced coffee for 99 cents.

I'm looking to gather 300 150 unused Christmas cards by Thanksgiving. I help deliver the newspaper with my family. We're able to put Christmas cards in the papers after Thanksgiving and our customers can sent us tips if they want with the cards. Left overs from last year, ones you really didn't like or something. I would like envelopes with them but can still use them without.

Would like matchboxes. Have some craft stuff I want to do.

For my husband, fishing stuff. Hooks, lures, or other little stuff like that.

For my nieces, kid crafting material.

Thank you

Count me in as someone who would also very much appreciate Christmas decorations. I do have very limited space and any items would need to be able to stand on a flat surface or be hung on a wall. My preference is religious over Santa based, though those can be fun. :) I don't need any more cards (I don't think) this year. Lol, I really don't need stickers either but those are always welcome just please no glitter or scratch n sniff (smelly ones). Only request to my requests on everything is please nothing glittery for religious decorations either, looks pretty but has a way of getting all over and from a smoke free home. Thank you so very much.

Here is my Wish List:

- Anything cross stitching related, but especially patterns (any kind of patterns as I cross-stitch for the online charity LoveQuilts and a wide variety of themes are requested to be stitched, though please, no Christmas/winter/angel patterns, I'm all set on those!); I'd especially like those 'One Nighter' pamphlets

3D puzzle or wood model or any kind of kit or model for building a model tower/building; I'd really like one of the Empire State Building but I'd be happy for anything that looks like it belongs in a modern day city; even if all the pieces aren't there or it has been used before, it doesn't matter to me, I would still be happy to have it

- Anything related to dragons: statues, posters, postcards, calendars, toys, figures, anything remotely related to dragons (honestly, I want to write a book featuring dragons and surrounding myself in dragon memorabilia is wonderful inspiration; would also welcome any other mythical creatures but mostly dragons)

- Any Halloween decorations you're looking to get rid of! I love Halloween and am looking to really build up my collection of decorations

I have wishes for costume pieces. I know they're long shots but it never hurts to ask, right? All of these would be for an adult, nothing kid-sized, perferably in the Medium through X-Large range but will take any size bigger or smaller to play with, thanks!

- Leather belts; worn or in good shape, it doesn't matter, any will do

- Yellow (or white that can be dyed yellow) jumpsuit/full bodysuit; skin tight or baggy, either way works

- Black or purple or blue witch/wizard hat, tall and pointy; it's okay if it is worn and raggedy, that's the look I'm going for

- Red or purple full length skirt

- Hooded cloak of any color but preferably black, brown, or red

Like I said, I know it's a long shot but I figured I should just put it out there in the world :) If you have any ideas on how I can get my hands on them for cheap, I would also welcome those suggestions.

Thanks for reading my wish list! Happy November, everyone! Bring on the holidays!
