This is where we post things we would like,(except money request or books by name). Please remember that we do not offer money for items we wish for because PBS frowns upon that. It also lessens the spirit of this thread and the forum. If you receive, try to give. Sometimes the littlest things can bring a smile.

Note: If I write to you about something you have requested, it is only to inform you that the request is not what this thread is about. If you wish to leave your request in this thread, that is up to you.

First: Remember: this is the place to wish. We all have wishes. If you feel someone has asked for something too large, expensive or extravagant, just ignore. Please be kind. Don't make someone feel badly. None of us know someone else's circumstances, unless we ask...........................For those of us asking, let's remember this is NOT a place to stock pantries, get all our presents for others, etc. It's a place for members to wish for items for themselves and immediate family. Also, PBS rules do not allow one to ask for money, even for charities, here. You may ask for other items, such as stamps and boxtops, etc.

Here, you list a few things you like/collect/can use. Obviously, we all like certain things like credits, wish-list books, etc. This is NOT for that kind of thing. This is for things others might have around the house that you can use (for instance if you collect postcards, bookmarks, Coke codes, or if there's a candy you love you can't find in your area, etc). ** Please remember that books, by title or genre, should not be requested in this forum(I Wish thread). There may be other places for that. If someone sends you an item, please receive it and thank the member sending it.

Please limit your list to about 10 items. Some lists are getting very long. (Remember, you can edit your list), and if someone PMs you for your address, please acknowledge and thank them when you receive whatever they send you. There is a separate thank you thread so we can keep this one clean and easy to read. It can get jumbled and hard to read with extra clutter so if we can do our best to keep it to our requests and the rare bump, that would be awesome :) It's important to thank everyone who send something either by PM and or the thank you thread so that we know the item arrived. Members do not want to send things, continously, to others who do not let them know the items have arrived.

Hello all,

Just a couple of things. I'm always in need of earbuds and I go through them like crazy. If anyone has bought an ipod recently and finds they don't need the earbuds/headphones that came with them, I would really, really appreciate it sent my way!
A couple of weeks ago I was in Canada and my first night there I lost my almost-new Apple earbuds, so I'm really wanting another pair. I love the earbuds that come with Apple products and would prefer them. However, only if no one is in need of them.

The second thing is baby items. My brother and sister-in-law are expecting a baby in a couple of months. Money is incredibly tight for them. The family is helping in whatever way we can, but I know they will still need things. Right now I'm thinking of gently-used clothes, or perhaps coupons for diapers or baby items. Basically the essentials.

I am really looking for upcs from anything that Bic makes.  It would really help our school.   Pepperidge farm product upc as well. Again it would help our school.

sunny D labels again for the school  I can not use upcs from the  cans just the bottles and the upc from the multi pack.  Hoping to help the school get books.

 Also our school collects candy bar wrappers and the bags that the candy came in.  We also collect chip bags for our school.

Everyone has been so generous here ..  thank you!  I'm hoping once more for some help.  I'm working on some crafts that our senior citizens' here would like....

Hi, I am looking for antique ink pens would love it if they worked if not still like the look. I decorate with these... I also like bookmarks of any kind...I collect and I pass some on to other ppl..I give some to our local library and to my neighbor hood girls.

I am trying to keep my girls(as I call them) reading so I am in need of some books for preteens in 5th and 6th grade. We are in a low economic challenged area so money for books is unheard of and the parents of these children do not read. The parents do not see how happy the girls get when I have a book they really want to read and I try to include a bookmark. I have bought for the girls as much as I can and I am always on the lookout at yard sales and goodwill for any good books to add to our collection. I am trying to also teach them how to treat a book. Do not just lay it down open, try not to bend the pages, and respect the books and they will last you a long time.  It is kinda funny, the girls grandmother came over to my house the other day and she saw my bookcase, she said,"Dang, no wonder those girls are over hear all the the time with all the books you have."  I hope this will instill the love of reading in them and they will one day pass it on to someone else and to their children as well.
