Abridged EditionOK ---- I'm not a real fan of Sidney Sheldon, but hey - I'm up for something new and different......I don't want to get in a rut! I took a chance!I've been told that this particular book is sorta dated, and not one of Sheldon's best efforts (his later ones are far better). But, since this is my first, I have no basis for comparison. There is super suspence in this book. Peole say that Sheldon is "the master" of "what's going to happen next??" I can see why! This book follows the trials and tribulations of a Dr. Stevens, brilliant psychoanalyst, who is hunted down by a ruthless killer, for no apparent reason. That's a good place to start ..........The story held my attention to the end, and I would classifiy it as a satisfying listen - maybe not a keeper, but worth your time (if for no other reason than to try someone new --- like I did). It's an easy listen, and another rollercoaster ride!Wiley Coyote
