Hi everybody, sorry if this has been asked before. I re-read archangel's blade by nalini singh last night and I still have trouble understanding if Honor is actually Dmitiris' wife reborn or has her spirit or what. In my opinion the ending was kind of rushed and made me question if I want to keep this book on my keeper shelf. Also does anyone know if the vampire Sorrow is going to have her own book? Thanks

Yes Honor is Dmitri's reincarnated wife, and yes I believe I read that sorrow was going to get a book.

I think I missed that. It also confused me because honor said she was just honor or something like that. did you feel the ending to that was rushed or was it just  me? maybe sorrorows' book is the one that is coming out in october. thanks for answering so fast

Evelyn, that was my last book in her series that I read, last fall, IIRC.  I got the impression it was a case of reincarnation.

I don't remember the ending being rushed mostly because by the time I got to the end of the story I was just annoyed with Singh's constant replaying of the characters' angst.  Yeah, I got that Dmitri loved his wife, carries great sorrow about the whole loss of wife and child, I'm pretty sure I got it the first time you mentioned it, Ms Singh.  I think mentioning it again every couple pages might be rehashing the message a bit excessively.  I'm not sure if I'll return to the series or not.  If you read the next one and it's better than this one, let us know.  cheeky

I think that's an issue Singh sometimes has, she'll just repeat the same description over and over in the same  pages. Her last book, heart of obsidian definatly had that issue. I liked the angst in angel's blade only beacuse I felt that he remembered different memories each time. still nto sure if i want to keep it. btw i had a friend request to you rjv =)

She definitely does.  In Riaz's book she mentioned "predatory changeling male" nearly every page.  Drove me nuts!

Honestly I don't know why it took her soooo long to wrap up that she's reincarnated and then make the 'explanation' be a paragraph at the end of the book. was Riaz's book play of passion? I remember not liking that book because I thought the heroine was too alpha and she kept pushing him away  and it 'being the final straw' and then just....showing up in front of the hero and he forgives her for picking another male in front of him or whatever. Like I said though I don't think she repeats the same thing in every book,  but when she does its a crazy amount of times.
