I picked up Wild Invitation by Nalini Singh and for the most part really enjoyed it. I want to read more by her but she apparently is very prolific and I'd like to start with her better books (I'm one of those people who rarely continues reading an author if I don't like one of the first books by them I read - too many authors not to be a little choosy) Can anyone give me recc's for very good books by her?

I really enjoy both her Psy-Changeling series and her Angel series.  I'd start with the first book in her Psy series and if you like that, continue.  It's a great book.

I'll second the vote for the Psy-changeling series and definitely start at number 1. I started in the middle not knowing and found there is a storyline that flows through. Great world building. I always feel like I'm on another planet.

the Guild Hunter (Angels) series has a bit more story focus to it, as well as the romance.  if you like urban fantasy, that series would be a good one to start with - and start with book 1, or the Angels' Pawn novella (available as an ebook, or in the omnibus Angels' Flight - i just wouldn't read the rest of the stories until later.)

for Psy-Changeling, book 1 was not my favorite.  if i'd read it first, i'm not sure i'd have kept going.  i read Mine to Possess #4 first and liked it enough to scramble for the earlier books, but the first one in the series i *really* liked was Caressed by Ice #3 (OMG, Judd!).  there is an ongoing storyline though, so they are best read mostly in order.

I liked the psych-changeling series more than the angel books only because the first 3 books are about one couple. the psych books have several amazing stories, but most have 2 or 3 continuing stories. I would start with slave to sensation, but its not that great. i actually started the series with kiss of snow which is my favorite and didn't have trouble following the story.

I'll start with the Psy series then since that seems to be the consensus, if I don't like the first one I'll skip ahead to Kiss of Snow or Caressed by Ice. Thanks for the reccs everyone :)
