Unlike your average baby name book, this one gives suggestions of why you should NOT choose various names, listing people with the same name who were of unsavory character, likely schoolyard nicknames, which names have been overused, etc. All of it is delivered with a lot of humor--one of the key reasons given to NOT name your baby David is that it is the same name as the author, proof of the name's unworth. ;) If you are overwhelmed with baby naming books and sites, this one will be a welcome break and a chance to laugh at it all.
