This is so well written and researched that I am now hunting down other books by the author. I couldn't put this book down.

This is an interesting and well-written book. I originally read it in hardcover and was especially interested since I went to Erasmus Hall high school with BarbarA (her name THEN) and knew her quite well. There was some inaccurate information about her and also some interesting information I knew, so I wrote to Randall Riese, the author.

Randall called me almost immediately and we discussed what I knew about Barbra (how she spells her name NOW). He checked out my information, called me back and said he would see to it that changes were made when the paperback came out. He was a man of his word.

The paperback came out with the correct information, and my name (Barbara Gregory nee Barbara Sigety) was mentioned (pages 42 & 43) along with the story about Barbra's hair turning green. Barbara & I were both named Barbara Joan and our last names both began with the letter S. We were seated alphabetically and were both in the same advanced classes. We also lived near one another in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.

Do check out the book. It's interesting. I think you'll enjoy it. She's such a great star, although more than a bit flaky. I live in Las Vegas now, and the people who work here can't stand her and her crazy demands.
