Its a great book and I can't remember the author or the title...you know how it goes, right.

Anyway here is the breakdown: Aunt and Uncle and Niece run a resort in the mountains, Niece is unwed mother.  The other part owner of the resort is an older woman who has died and left her portion of the resort to a former foster son, who decides that it is time to get out of dodge and check this out.  He is very suspicious of the folks running the resort and has trouble on his tail.  The kid of the niece thinks the sun rises and sets on the Hero.

I wanted it for my keeper shelf and it has just walked away.
