About 9 years ago, my grandmother died. she was the worlds worst cook but she tried. she had every cook book know to man. i have a friend who is the worlds second worst cook and is getting married. grandma had a cookbook that made fun of bad cooks and i think the name was something aound '5 minutes till burnt' or 'well past done' i want to say it had a cartoon picture of a smoke dectector beeping on the front.

can anyone help me find the name of the book or something similar, i would like to give it to my friend for a wedding present.

thank you for any help anyone can give. i think i have searched everyway possible. (i dont know who ended up with the book in the family, i would have loved to just called them to find out the name of the book).

Doesn't sound familiar, but the "Crabby Cook cookbook" by Jessica Harper is humorous.  It comes from the perspective from someone who does not always enjoy cooking.

I googled both possible titles and found nothing.

You could go to library of congress website and search all titles that have ISBN numbers.
