About 9 years ago, my grandmother died. she was the worlds worst cook but she tried. she had every cook book know to man. i have a friend who is the worlds second worst cook and is getting married. grandma had a cookbook that made fun of bad cooks and i think the name was something aound '5 minutes till burnt' or 'well past done' i want to say it had a cartoon picture of a smoke dectector beeping on the front. can anyone help me find the name of the book or something similar, i would like to give it to my friend for a wedding present.
thank you for any help anyone can give. i think i have searched everyway possible. (i dont know who ended up with the book in the family, i would have loved to just called them to find out the name of the book).

Doesn't ring a bell, but what about one of these - |

Doesn't sound familiar, but the "Crabby Cook cookbook" by Jessica Harper is humorous. It comes from the perspective from someone who does not always enjoy cooking. |

I googled both possible titles and found nothing. You could go to library of congress website and search all titles that have ISBN numbers. |
