Nameless Cults is not only a good "Cthulhu Mythos" read, but it's a great sampler for those that might be new to Robert E. Howard! Not only were Howard and Lovecraft friends, but they, as well as others, shared ideas and included each other's subject matter in their own stories. This book contains all of the stories that Howard wrote that fit into the Lovecraft Mythos universe. The great thing, though, for new readers that might be coming to this book not as a Howard completest, but as a Lovecraft fan, is the fact that this contains a great variety of Howard stories. Not only does it include King Kull and Bran Mak Morn classics (Worms of the Earth is a true chiller!), but it has stories that include some of his lesser known characters, as well. If you're a Lovecraft fan, but always wanted to see the hero either pump some lead into the monster or charge head-on and beat it to a pulp, these Mythos stories are for you!
