I just finished this morning.  My eye's are buggy, my hands hurt, and I'm ready for a nap, but I'm done. My story isn't quite done but I'm taking a break.

It's a wondeful feeling isn't it?  I finished early saturday morning. My story isn't "done" either.  I'm thinking I need another 2000 or so words.

Congrats!

I'm not published yet (she said hopefully).  Doing the nano has shown me that I still have some creative cells in my body. My biggest thing is not playing "internal editor" while writing.  I may try to trick myself into doing my own nano every other month and then edit on the off months.

ME TOO !  I sent my story in for final word count and validation on Monay.  I am so jazzed I can hardly stand it.  I wrapped it up at 54,996 words.  Plan to format to more of a manuscript format, print it out, and continue working with it.  I didn't think I would get to 5000 words, let alone the required 50,000.  It's been a great experience.

Congrats on winning! This was my first attempt. Unfortunately real life decided to break into my NaNoWriMo time (moving, hospital stay, and kids) the first two to three weeks. I'm not even going to be able to break 10000! I'll try again next year but I'll be in the process of moving to England. But, despite not making it, I liked the experience. I'm going to continue with my story and see how it goes. Again congrats on winning and hope to see you guys published!

I do not have any fiction published. I do, however, have an essay published.  I'd like to eventually publish my NaNo book, but I'm quite pessimistic. I have loads of editing to do in December!

haha.. i know i'm like a month late on this post, but my excuse is that i wasn't a member at the time.  ;-)

i won Nanowrimo this year too.  whew... what a ride that was!  i didn't even know what it was until 11/1, began my story, and started over on 11/5.  hit 50K in the wee hours of 11/29, and was finally able to sleep at night instead of writing.  My story wasn't done but now i can't find the motivation to finish it!  i dont know if i ever will, because the more i got into my story the less i liked it.

I'm already pondering ideas for next year's novel.  :-)
