The first part of the book is a light read on a love triangle turned square. Story is told from the point of view of the three major characters. Each provides insight on what different people look for in relationships. I held on when I thought the characters were getting a bit shallow and the story delivered, with the last third of the book getting deep into the meanings of love of others and the self.

This is different from the usual romance story. It was a little slow in some spots but had a satisfactory ending. The notes on the cover are not exactly in line with the story. But it is still a reasonably good read.
