Visually, it's not an appealing book -small format and no photos. But the content is very good. There is a guide to soyfoods at the beginning, followed by 75 clearly written recipes covering a wide variety of dishes. Some of them have become staples for me, such as the carrot ginger soup. The recipes are all vegan and a couple contain suggested dairy substitutions. If you eat soy, I would consider this to be a slim but staple cookbook to have on hand.
