This is a great series, consisting of 3 books, "Don't Look Now", "Never Look Back", and "One Last Look". All are humorously written, light mystery, and you won't put any of them down until you've finished.

I loved it. This is the sequel to 'Don't Look Now'. Clare Westbrook has received her inheritance and has since opened her own practice in a rundown neighborhood. She and the sexy Tony Sonterra are still on the outs and now someone is trying to kill her-again. Moves fast and kept me hooked till the end.

This is a suspense thriller from a wonderful author. Clare Westbrook keeps stumbling into dangerous situations such as drive-by shootings at her office, murders and the disappearance of her neighbors and friends. Although reluctant to do so, she soon realizes that she needs the help of Tony Sonterra (a local police officer) with whom Clare has a love/hate? relationship. Sonterra is bent on not only solving the crimes that seem to surround Clare but in rekindling their previous affair.

Since we share the same last name, I wanted to love her book. It just didn't measure up. But then lots of people love it, so don't take my review as the last word. Different strokes for different folks.

I enjoyed this book as much as the first one, Don't Look Now. The characters are very likeable (sp?) and I'll probably see if there is a third book to the series. Very entertaining!
I enjoyed this book immensely. It was a good thriller but also a subtle love story. About a female lawyer who inherits her father's millions and decides to devote her talents to pro bono work for the poor. Her love interest is a hot Italian detective who is always rescuing her, mostly from herself. It was an exciting read that I could not read at bedtime because it seemed so real. Highly recommend this book.
