WOW!! I picked up this book because it was recommended by my favorite author, Catherine Anderson. I am so glad I did!! Paula does a wonderful job of telling the story from both characters perspective. And Marcy, the 6 year old daughter, is an absolute joy!! In my opinion, a book is only rated 5 stars if you laugh out loud, cry, and sigh at least a few times. Needless to say I did all of those too many times to count by the end. It was bittersweet to get to the end. This one is going back on my "non-trade" shelf for another read in the future.
