This is a beautiful tabletop book. It is a big book with beautiful illustrations. The first time I bought it for my kids; the second time it was for me. It is a beautiful story. Ellie is babysitted by Miss Maggie, an elderly lady but the best babysitter ever. Miss Maggie tells Ellie that her 8 th birthday was very special because she received a beautiful doll, but her little sister the same day knocked it off the table and broke it. Those of us who have younger siblings knows how that feels. Ellie decides to try to find another doll for Miss Maggie, but can she find one like it so many years later, with her little amount of money?
