Thanks guys for your input. The member contacted me and it was just an oversight on her part after a crazy week. Which I can definitely understand. So glad things worked out :o)

Unfortunately, the site admins don't get involved with deals that are outside the regular ordering system. Have you contacted this person? It's possible that it was an innocent mistake. I personally have forgotten to package multipple books together when I had a lot of packages to wrap.

Yeah, I don't think there is anything that can be done unless the person sends the extra books to you separately if you were to contact them.

Is it possible that maybe you accidentally didn't order your book from them & instead just ordered the book & it went to the FIFO line?  That would have sent the book request to someone else instead of the person you had the 'deal' with.  It is an easy mistake to make.

I've heard of cases where someone ordered a book in a deal, and somehow clicked on the wrong button and the book, instead of being ordered from the person who was offering the deal, it went into the FIFO system.  Could this have happened?  Have you checked who the book came from and who you were doing the deal with?  Were they actually the same person?  Also you mention a 3/1 deal above, which to me would mean that you'd get a total of 3 books for one credit, and not 4 books for one credit as you're indicating.  Good luck.  Pat

I was going to mention exactly what Pat mentioned.  It's a common mistake that people make hwen ordering books from deal offers.  They order the book while the description bubble thing is open or they go from the bookshelf to the book page and think it will still order from that bookshelf. But it puts it to FIFO when you do that.

First confirm that you did get the single book from the person who offered the deal. If you didn't click the order button on the right of the book on their main bookshelf screen and used any other order button, the request would have went FIFO. The person offering the deal could have denied RCs, cancelled or let it time out too.

If the request went to the right person and they just didn't send the books, PM them and find out why they didn't send the extra books. Since it is a deal worked out between you and the member, the site will expect the two of you to work out the problem. If you did order correctly and try to work it out and the person offering the deal is just refusing to honor the deals they are offering, send in Feedback via the Contact Us link in the lower right. The Team doesn't get involved in member disputes, but they won't let members continue to take advantage of other members.
