Vision in White is available on PBS.  The other books in the series are all wishlisted, and I'm pretty sure it's against PBS policy to ask for wishlisted books.

it is??  I'm very new to PBS...sorry if I stepped on toes.  How come it's against the rules to ask for a book?  (I promise, I'm not being snarky...I just realy want to know...).

Don't worry about it.  Everybody is new at one time.

Asking for a wishlisted book is considered "jumping" the wishlist line.    There are several hundred people in the wishlist line for some of the books in this series.

It is, however, allowed for members to offer and post wishlisted books directly to other members, and that happens frequently in the genre forums (the Love and Romance forum is a genre forum.).  There is a monthly thread in this forum for members to offer wishlisted books.   Here is a link to June's wishlist book thread: Is This On Your Wishlist Romance - June 2010

My advice?  Add yourself to the wishlist for all the books in the series that are wishlisted.  I think you'll be surprised at how fast the wishlist lines move for Nora's books.    And you'll probably want to keep an eye on the monthly wishlist thread here in the Romance & Love forum just in case someone offers one (or more) of the books.

If you order White you might get lucky and that person my post another one to your WL to save on postage.  That's what I do. Whenever someone orders a book from me, I check their WL to see if I have a TBR book I can read quickly and post to them.  I've only been turned down once when I've asked.

Oh and don't be discouraged by a long WL line for a Nora Roberts books. Her books go from heavily WL to very heavily posted a fairly short time after her books are released. The book that has a super long WL now will have 500 copies in the system 6months from now and 1,000+ a year from now.

Have you checked your library?  You might get them faster there.

Well, ii again Naomi ... we meet again! :)  I feel like I'm bouncing along after you on various threads! lol

Ditto what Lynne and Mary said about the lines moving quickly for NR. I have all three of them but haven't read them yet. I'll bump them up my own list to read and check to see if they're still WL by you when I'm done.

Keep visiting the thread also that you originally posted on (the one Lynne) linked .. I've seen the last two books pop up a couple of times on there.

There's only three people waiting for ISBN: 0425230074. If it's on your wishlist it should be offered to you within a week.

I think I wasn't supposed to post this thread...thank you all for helping the newbie! :D

Feel free to delete this since it probably shouldn't have been posted in the first place...

Naomi, you have to delete it -- this one TPTB won't delete, I wouldn't think.  Just hit edit post and you can delete the words yourself leaving a blank post.

And no, you honestly can't ask for WL books.
