It used to be that when you typed in an author, the page would come up that available books are on the left side and unavailable books were on the right. Now it's a straight column all the way down the page. And it's not very easy for me to tell at a glance which books are available or not.
Is there a sort feature that I am missing to make the columns separate like they used to be, all on one page? Thanks! Last Edited on: 3/12/11 9:13 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

OK, I found the button that say "available only". Meh. I liked the old format better. |

I liked the old format better. Me too. I loved the old format, I could see at a glance all the author's books, what's available and what I need to wishlist. I could also easily tell with the side-by- side what books are available in different formats. I've liked most of the changes the site has made but this one just makes it more confusing and time consuming to search for books by my favorite authors. |

And I'm someone who usually grumbles about change, but I like this one. All the extra information is great, you can still see what's available or not by which button is there, and one click takes you to the book information page where you can access any of the normal buttons, like WISH, REMINDER, etc. This is one change I like! This is one change that I really dislike. I've even sent feedback before posting here. I asked that PBS return one of the old formats to one of the tabs (since there are several anyway). I loved being able to get the big picture of what an author wrote and what's available. It was easy to see the re-issues and hardback/paperback. The new format makes it hard to tell what books an author has. Is this book a re-issue? will I find it farther down the dated list, too? Last Edited on: 3/12/11 1:29 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
