A beautiful collection of granny "squares" - although some of them are round, octagonal, triangular, shaped like flowers or butterflies, etc. Section one contains patterns, many of which use newer novelty yarns - eyelash, fun fur, crochet thread - as well as silk ribbons, seed beads & pearl beads. A second section covers embellishments you can add to knitting or sewing projects. The third section is devoted to projects you can make using the techniques shown in the first two sections. The photos are lovely, and the instructions clear.
