I know how to find out where I am in line for books on my Wishlist.  Is there any way to tell where your books are in line on the Bookshelf?  I have been adding my books  to the Reminder list so I can see how many copies there are when I am posting the book....but that doesn't tell me where my book is in line.

Secondly, I posted a book to my Bookself that had 1 member wishing for it.  It was offered to that member and then the 48 hours went by without a response.  I notice that the book was put back in my Bookshelf.  I also noticed  that there are now 2 copies listed for this book.   Do I retain my position as first in line or did I lose my place in line and am now second in line?

1)Go to My lists>wish list and under the book titles is a (!) hover your mouse over it and it will say 23 of 56 or something meaning you are #23 on the list-

The reminder list doesn't appear to tell you where your book stands in the FIFO system, at least mine doesn't.  I imagine I'm last or near the last because the book I posted I just listed this weekend.

The RL doesnt tell you exactly where in line you are but it will tell you how many were in the system before you posted a book giving you an idea of where you will be in line. You can see how many copies are available the same way you check your place in the WL line there is a grey ! there on the list.

Also, remember that WL goes strictly on ISBN, so if the other copies of that book happen to have a different ISBN, then your's is not first in THAT line, only in the line of your ISBN.

And, Leslie, you are right, the Reminder list only tells you where you are in the FIFO when you have just posted a book and are LAST , because it shows how many, and if you just posted, you know you are probably last of those numbers of books. After that it does not show you where your books are in the FIFO.
