heck i might even be a lot lost.  i noticed while browsing  through my lists and account settings that several of the books i posted are on wish list holds and it says "waiting 48 hours to confirm that other member has credits for this book".  what exactly does that mean?  what happens after 48 hours?  sorry if its blatantly obvious.

The people with the books on their Wish List (WL) get 48 hours to decide if they really want the book or not. If they do, you'll be notified that they've ordered the book and what to do next.

If they don't want the book it will go to the next person on the WL for that specific book. That person will then either get 48 hours to decide if they want it, or if they have the book on Auto Request (AR)  the site will order the book for them, in an hour. It will continue bo be offered to people on the WL in order until someone either accepts the order or they run out of people in the WL line.

If no one is in line behind this person then the book will be listed in the system as ready to order. You could get an order at any time, and probably be the first person in the First In First Out line to receive the next request.

Yep ,it means its on someones WL and they get a that many hours to accept it ,or it goes to the next person.
