Greetings, all!

Wow-- this site is really cool. Not sure if there is a Welcome Forum here or not; however, being a writer by nature, thought that this would be as good a place as any to post a quick intro thread. Hope that's okay.

Anyhow, my name is Wes, I'm 25, and I live in Ohio (near Cleveland). I am a business owner, and some of my interests include biking, hiking, stamp collecting, traveling, writing, and reading.

I found this site through an ad someone posted in the Books (for sale) section of my local Craig's List. I had heard about similar websites before, but then promptly forgot about them.

I think this is a GREAT idea. I have a *large* box of books sitting at home that I really had no idea what to do with. Some of them are in near mint condition from only being read once or not at all, and I couldn't bear to let those go for nothing at a yard sale, ebay, etc. So there the books continued to sit, until I found this site. By the way, if you're into politics, be sure to look in the very near future for my handle "sk8erboy5003" or Wes (not sure how they identify you here yet) as I have a lot of those I will be listing.

All in all, really looking forward to immersing myself in the site and seeing all that it has to offer. Feel free to send me a PM to say hi, or reply in this thread.

Welcome to our little corner of the woods.  I'm relatively new here and am trying to navigate around the place.  This particular writers community seems like a safe, friendly, welcoming place.

I've been a writer for ages, mostly TV, but in the last few years I've been dabbling in fiction -- primarily humorous fiction.  I'm on the eighth rewrite of my current novel.  Fortunately, I love rewriting!

Linda, sorry I think you must be some kinda writing freak.. LOL really just kidding.

I like to rewrite but I do not enjoy editing, I had a friend tell me I should just write adult choose your own adventure type novels..HEHE I might just do that one day since others have done it already.

Welcome WES! lovely to have another writer on board and who reads, what is wrong with writers that do not read books, that is just too weird.

LoL-- I don't think Linda H. is that odd, as you have to enjoy, or at least put up with, ALL aspects of your craft, hehe. I mean, when you really enjoy what you do (in this case writing), then that will get you through the not-so-enjoyable parts.
