Finally broke down & bought Kindle 3G!  I'm still learning but not a patient person sooooo........if you archieve a book, can it be completely deleted from the Kindle.  Also, can you go to a specific page in the book.  Example:  If I'm reading & know that something I want to review is on page 22, can I somehow go directly to that page?  Thanks for any info, & I'm sure I'll have more questions as I go.

Yes you can Delete a book!  on the 4 way toggle just left click to Remove from device.   Use the Go To on the Menu to go to the page you want!

Congrats!!!

Yes when you archive a book, you are deleting it from the Kindle. but it is still on Amazon (if you bought it there).

Another thing you can do is set a book mark on a certain page that you want to go back to. I think. I haven't done that but I believe you can.
