Hey Everyone.

 

I just joined tonight.  I have listed my books and was wondering if you would look through my books.  It is my understanding that the normal process is FIFO, so I am not likely to get credits anytime soon from that process.

You've got some great Sci-Fi and  mysteries on your shelf.  When I've had the Tolkien books they were usually requested fairly quickly too so it may not be long before your first order rolls in.  Welcome to PBS!

I took a look.. nothing I want at the moment, but you've got some books there you shouldn't have any trouble moving.  Just don't get discouraged.  Sometimes I go for a couple of months without having anything requested, and then I'll have three in one week!

You have a good shelf.  Welcome to PBS.  Like Marilyn said, sometimes the orders are slow, then they pick up.  Don't get discouraged.

I'm new, too, but found that a great way to get people looking at your shelf is to post in the genre forums.  Welcome!

I agree that posting in the genre forums is a great way to get your shelf noticed, but please only do so in the red sticky thread at the top of the page for Book Deals, Bookshelf Offers, etc.  That keeps the forums clear for their intended purpose of discussing books in that genre.

Another good idea for you would be to look for the "Multiple Books by One Author" thread and offer a multiple-book deal on there for your series books and the Grishams.
