Good story.
All of Eugenia Prices books are excellent. She is a history buff and includes alot of Southern history woven thru her love stories.
Part of the St. Simon's trilogy by Eugenia Price. A great story! I love Price's writing and characters. She's so true to the history of the time and the sites where her stories take place. Great Civil War reading!
If you loved "Christy" you will love this book! She writes with wonderful history, too............

A beautiful true story taking place in Civil war period. The story moves from Yale and New England to a south Georgia Island. It gives one a clear picture of life and times of a developing country. A very good read
