I have a Playaway of J. D. Robb's Haunted in Death.  It's listed with a valid ISBN on Amazon and I wanted to post it here.  I got a message that this is something that says this ISBN matches a book type that cannot be posted on PBS.

Has anyone encountered this before?  Is it because it's a Playaway?  But there are Playaways posted.

What is a Playaway?

Valid ISBNs don't necessarily mean postable here, but playaways are specifically listed as postable on PBS so if it is giving you feedback, the item needs to be corrected. I've seen the message and I am glad its been added to discourage posting of items that can't be posted here. But it only works if the item is listed correctly.

Have you did a search of the ISBN and looked at the listing? What type does it list? If the book type is accurate I'd send in Feedback.

Playaway is like a MP3.  It looks like a small tapre recorder, has ear buds and the book is unabridged.  You can't change anything - it just has that one book on it.   Some of J. D. Robb's books are only available in audio and this is one of them.

Thanks Melanie.  It just surprised me and I didn't do a search of the title.  Duh on my part!  Especially since I'm always doing data edits.  Jeez, big time.
