It was ok. I was glad to see they brought in a psychologist with the little boy but they whole demon thing was way stupid. I kept screaming at the tv HOLD THE PAPER UP I WANNA SEE THE NAME! All in all not better no worse than TAPS they dont entertain me anymore either.

I found it very Christianized.  Holy water?  Reading Bible verses?  I guess I assumed it would be more spiritual, more new age.

Yeah but the holy water and bible verses are a pretty common theme in most ghost shows. Especially A Haunting. I swear if I had a nickle for every time Ive heard or read about someone performing a prayer or cleansing only to have the "haunting" get worse Id be a rich woman. At least with giving the little boy holy water they gave him a psychological tool to use against whatever it is he is experiencing. It may not even be a real phenomenon he may be imagining it but with the holy water he can feel as though he is doing something to protect himself.

I thought they would be more along the lines of parapsychologists. See a parapsychologist doesnt set out to prove a haunting. They set out to find out what is going on. You cant go in and say this a ghost and Im gonna find proof of it. You will a) look stupid and b) never get any proof. (you is of course narrative)

I did have high hopes for them and related to them a bit. They all struggle with getting respect since they are all so young (the founder is younger than I am) I have been struggling to be taken seriously for most of my life but Im young so that doesnt happen often. I start talking about parapsychology and then get labled as a freak or weirdo even though its a legitimate science. Shoot you can get a doctorate of parapsychology at the University of Edinburgh.

I love Taps, but I really hate how people say oh it's boring now....things don't happen all the time. If that's what you want, look for one of the shows where they fake things. This isn't really to you Chris, but I hear things like this alot and it annoys me. There's no better ghost hunting show then Taps, imo

My problem with TAPS/Ghost Hunters is the lack of new shows and the irratic schedule. And yes it has become boring.I attribute it to teh lack of drama now that Brian is gone.I thought paranormal state was very "staged" BUT I have to watch it again because Im curious about teh guy being followed by a demon!

The TAPS schedule does suck, but that is sci fi's fault not theirs. Also if you are watching it to see drama from the people, then you are watching for the wrong reason.

I watched PS again last night and I am still not sure if I like this show or not.  At times it just seems so "scripted" and at others it does seem creepy and real but it still hasn't shown any real paranormal activity.  I guess I'll watch again in 2 weeks when the new episode is on and go from there.

I do agree that TAPS is getting pretty boring but I am really hoping that TAPS International will give us back some spark!

OMG The freakin name was Belile. If that name brings about a demon then Im damn well possesed cause it was my screen name for years. Im starting to think this one is a little too out there. They are all a little too quick to hysterics. The motion senser thingy was a neat idea though I had never thought of using one of them.

TAPS only investigates for 1 night so the chance of catching any activity would be rare. They should go back several times and then air the episode, but I know they don't have time for that since it is not their only job. Don't they get paid enough from SciFi to make it their job full time? I am hoping the new international investigations lead to more acitiity. I was shocked they went to the most haunted place in America on Halloween and didn't get anything. That place is screaming with activity people claim.
