Hey everyone

I'm new here and new to this genre. I want to get addicted to a series...haha :) I just requested the first in the Dark-Hunter books, are they any good?  Any favorites that you can't put down? Help!

These are some of my auto-buys:

Demonica Series by Larissa Ione

Black Dagger Brotherhood by J. R. Ward

Mercedes Thompson series by Patricia Briggs

There are tons more, but I can't remember them all!

I love Karen Chance's Cassandra Palmer Series

Also Love Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress

Lara Adrian's Midnight Breeds

C.T Adams and Kathy Clamp have Tales of the Sazi (shifters) which is excellent as well

One of my all time favorite is Christine Feehan's Dark (Carpathians) she also has her Game series (Ghostwalkers)

These are just to name a few..if you want more suggestions feel free to PM me

The PsyChangling Series is fantastic! Probably won't fnd too many passing through here though. Those tend to be keeps for a lot of folks. I know they are for me!

I second the PsyChangling series!  I wanted to recommend Nalini Singh, but I couldn't remember the name of the series.

Oh, and I love G.A. Aiken's Dragon series.   G.A. Aiken is also Shelley Laurenston.

Are you looking for romance or urban fantasy?  How dark?  How sexy?

I wanna throw Sunny's Mona Lisa series in here. I just finished book one so I'm not sure how it goes after that but it was definately a page turner for me. It's not for everyone. Sunny is apparently a doctor and the only thing that is described in detail is how to kill someone with a knife. I appreciate that after being so clogged up with what designer shirt everyones characters are wearing.

To add to the list:  Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series (my favorite!), Werecat series by Rachel Vincent, also several young adult series including, of course, the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and the Morganville Vamps by Rachel Caine.  I also really enjoyed the Immortals after Dark series by Kresley Cole.  That's just off the top of my head.  Keep watching these boards.  I've had a ton of recommendations just by reading the posts here.

I like light and funny and romance mostly so my faves so far are Kerrelyn Sparks' Love at Stake series, Lynsay Sands' Argeneau vamps(the last 4 started getting more iffy for me though), Kathy Love's Young Brothers - her newer series I liked the 1st, didn't like the content of the 2nd, but thought the 3rd was really good so go figure...Erin McCarthy's vegas vamps was cute but one couple just got on my nerves a bit. I like Aiken/Laurenston who were mentioned above - more sex I think and good stories IMO. I haven't read Patricia Briggs yet though I did read the  little short story in the anthology that introduces Cry Wolf and liked it..just haven't gotten around to it yet. I also read the first in the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher( a wizard) and think that will be a good series.

Not a fan of Sunny's series...even though I've read them all!  lol!  Very weird and not in a good way.

This genre is very diverse...do you like romance?  Dark? LIght and funny?  If you give your preference...it'll be easier to give you some selections.
