Now when you pick a mail by date when accepting the book and go to print your printable postage, it automatically is set for the date you've picked. Yay!

Does that create problems if you mail it before that date?

I was just complaining about that feature today. I always pick the latest mail date, then print my label when ever I am going to mail it. DIdn't even cross my mind that it would use the later date. Now I mailed a book today thats posted for Monday

The PO is picky about teh mail by date if you mail it afterwards because it makes it look like the book took longer than it did. I doubt they'll give you trouble if you mail it early.

You can change it to whatever date you choose. What I didn't used to like before was that even if you picked a later mail-by date, today's date would come up when you went to print and if you forgot to change it, it could cause problems.

Mary is right - the PO doesn't mind if you mail it before the postmark date.

Julie - I can see where the later postmark makesĀ  you look bad if you do mail it earlier. I wonder if TPTB thought of that or looked at all of the possibilities?
