The title of a book being published later this year was announced this week. The ISBN was not. I've checked and I can't find the book in PBS to add to my Wish List. (I'm hoping to sneak in as one of the first FIFOs for the Wish List before everyone else finds out the title.) How does the book get in the system so I can add it to my Wish List? |

The book will be added to the system once the publisher assigns it an ISBN number and their database is updated. |

Try the Fantastic Fiction or Amazon websites, you may be able to get the ISBN number there. I have done that in the past and was able to place myself at number one on the wishlist for a lot of new books by popular authors that way. |

You will need to wait for the ISBN since PBS identifies books by that, not the name. |

I've also tended to notice that PBS' database doesn't get updated unless Amazon has the ISBN of the book. There are a couple of books that the publisher has already announced the ISBN of some books but they're not in Amazon yet therefore no matter how many times I keep putting the ISBN in PBS, it won't pull it up yet. |

You can also check out the author's website. I find that most of them have the most up-to-date information on their books. |

What Deborah said, if it's not available on Amazon yet it's unlikely the PBS data base will pull it in. |

you can click on just the author name here-it will list all the books by that author. Towards the bottom it will list all the books that are not available here-this is how I find new books and get on the wish list early. |
