So as a newbie, I've been amply warned about this forum and the bad influences here, hehe. I'm not sceered though. wink BUT, just for fun I thought I'd put out all of my 2010 end-of-the-year numbers, to see what the numbers at the end of the year will look like.

WL: 74 total - but only 50 are unique titles

RL: 153 (some of these could be WL, but I haven't moved them yet)

and the ugly truth...Mt.TBR: 264 (140 tbr + 10 ebooks + 114 series books) blush

Be gentle with me, ladies and gents. My bookshelves are overflowing! LOL!

eta: I meant to welcome you all to post your 2010 ending numbers, so we can all laugh at ourselves and our good intentions next New Years. cool

I just perged my lists yesterday, my W/L is down to  104, R/L  179, and TBR is at 73.

My wishlist is always just under 200, my reminder list is at 448, but isn't up to date--I could purge some of those.  My TBR--I don't use PBS (or any list) for my TBR but I'm thinking about starting.  I just don't know if it's possible to input all those books though (lets just say the number would have 4 digits...).

Okay, my WL is at 42, my RL is at 133, and my TBR pile listed here is 260, but I know I have more books that are not listed.  And it doesn't count the books I have stashed on my Kindle.

Now...let's do some math!  Between reading paper books, ebooks, and listening to audio books, I read 135 books in 2010.

Nevermind, let's not do math...

My WL hovers just under 200, but probably around 180 unique titles.  I don't use the RL.  I just cleaned up my TBR and it stands at 140.

In 2010, I read 74 books.  I didn't keep track of the audio books.  I don't know ... probably a dozen of those.

I can't count past 10. Convenient, huh?

Okay, this topic made me curious so I took an inventory:

WL -48 with about 19 uniques titles

RL- 111 - many of which I can find at the library

TBR -100 !!!! (but more are on the way!)

BIR - looks like 93

Kindle - 10 definitely to read plus many free downloads of books I'd like to re-read.

LOL -- I can count past 10 since I can use both fingers and toes -- but I surely don't want to -- the numbers would be big and too depressing!

Alright, this is what I ended the year with:

WL: 200 (but over 25 are not released yet)

TBR: PBS says 124, but I know there is probably about 100-150 more just sitting on my shelf....these numbers do not include my DD YA books I get for her.

RL: 94 (again...some not released)

THEN

I have an EXTENDED WL: 41

AND

I only read 96 books in 2010 (down from 2009).

Oui kakoi!

WL: 200 (190 unique titles)

RL: 370

TBR: 765

Books read in 2010: 83

Goal in 2011: um, to read faster.....

If I put my numbers here, you'd all sign me up for that "Hoarders" tv show. No way! :-D

I've always had a ridiculous amount of books and titles on wishlists and I don't think that will ever change. I've never been a huge keeper of books though; before PBS, I swapped them at the used book store and donated them to my library.

I will give you just a glimpse into my bookish insanity...I have a wishlist here that is always full, an overflow wishlist here,  2 typed wishlists stored in my pc, two different Amazon wishlists, one at BCO, one at the library, and one at the UBS. I think that is all. No, I forgot the one stored in my Blackberry that I use for books that are heavily posted here and likely to be found at the thrift store. I really think that is the last one.
