Welcome Rebekah!  Do you have a specific question...how to package a book, print label, buy postage?  The Help Center (pull down menu under the blue bar) has an option for Help Documents, including "I Just Joined, Where Do I Start?"

If you have specific questions about posting, setting up your account/privacy settings, requesting books, etc. feel free to ask...members here are very helpful.  Specific USPS mail questions are fine here, but other questions will probably receive better results posting in the forum titled Questions About Paperbackswap...more member traffic too!

PS: the above blue underlines are links, just click on them.

Someone please explain in lamens terms for me on how this is done!

1. You list books you want to get rid of on your bookshelf.
2. Someone will eventually order a book from you. When that happens, you will wrap it up and mail it, paying the "Media Mail" rate postage for it.
3. You will get a credit when the book is received by the other person.
4. With your credit, you can order a book and someone will pay the postage to mail it to you.

There are tons and tons of details about each of these things in the Help Center!

When you join, you also will have a "Tour Guide". They are there to help you, you should be able to send a message to your Tour Guide any time you get confused.
