I just signed up for the paperback swap and so far I love it. My daughter who will be on 4th grade has outgrown many, many books. I am talking like maybe 75+. I was thinking of trying to sell them on Ebay but then got hooked into this swap group. Do children's books move pretty quickly? I am just wondering the quickest way to get rid of them short of taking them to Goodwill.

Thanks for your help I apprecaite it.

Colleen, it just depends on the popularity of the book.  Certain series are in high demand, while others are a dime a dozen on here.  Things that I have noticed that are in high demand are Harry Potter, Spiderwick, Percy Jackson & The Olympians....basically anything newer that is part of a series that is still ongoing.  There are a lot of Junie B. Jones and Magic Tree House books available, as well as things like Goosebumps, Bailey School Kids, etc.  And then there are some books that are older and are hard to find, so you never know!

I would just try putting all of them into the system, wait a few weeks and see what goes, and then maybe offering some kind of deal in the book bazaar if you want to try to speed things along.  Good luck!

I have been going through my daughters books as well.  I searched for some of the books before I posted them.  If they were on peoples wish lists I posted them and if there were already several listed I decided not to.  A lot of mine will probably go in a garage sale or to the consingment shop.

You could always post them for awhile and then if their not moving you could offer a deal in the Book Bazaar or remove them.

I joined PBS last week with ALL children's books. 15 flew off the shelf within two days, Fairy Books, Bionicals, etc.

I have about 96 left to go!  Our school is looking for more non-fiction for our students.

Do a deal in the Book Bazaar - 2 for 1 or better if you want to really get rid of them. I love doing deals and getting deals. Makes it even more fun! :)

Welcome to paperbackswap. Hope you don't get to addicted!!

If you decide to do a "deal" can you please PM me and let me know? The Bazaar is frustrating for me, as it's hard for me to look through with so many posts and bumps.   Thank you!

I was also wondering how the children's books do. I just posted a bunch of Golden Books and Scholastic books that one of my neighbors gave me and wasn't sure if they would move or not. I know that some do not go quickly but I wasn't sure about the children's book. I guess it's good that I stoped by this post! :-)
