The first two books I received from PBS were the same book because the sender didn't mark them sent in the correct time period, which then resulted in someone else sending another copy. I'm not complaining because I did it for my first two books. This leads me to both a comment and a question:
1. If someone commits to sending a book, why the need to then go in and mark it sent? Aren't you already entering into an obligation without having to take the extra step?
2. What do I do if I receive a duplicate book since I only have one button to mark it received? I just found out this morning that I'm about to receive another duplicate.
It's not a huge deal because I can just repost the book, I just want to make sure people get their credits.
Thanks!!

Having a deadline to mark it sent imposes, well, a deadline on sending it. Senders might be more inclined to let it slip one more day... one more day... or fail to cancel if they find they can't find the book or discover it has become unpostable for some reason. |
