"So, you think you want to sell to a couple?"
"No, I'm sure of it." Erastus drew his gaze from Kara, who was shotting Brad a killer look.
"I want a happy couple. You wouldn't believe it, but half the people who've come to buy the place were fighting and carrying on something fierce. I'd hate to think how they'd act when no one's around. A home's got to have love. Just like people."
Brad and Kara exchanged a startled glance. "How will you know when you've meet the right couple" Brad asked, jumping in before Kara could speak.
"I just get a feeling, young man. People either look right to me or they don't and you two look right--the perfect couple."
Kara stared at the man next to her and then back at Erastus. "We do? But you don't under--"
"Come on, honey," Brad interrupted. "Let's discuss it over here."
Honey? Kara Lawrence hardly digested the word when the drop-dead handsome stranger next to Erastus stepped forward, grabbed her elbow and yanked her away before she could utter another word. (intro page)
