I'm okay with breaking Lionheart up into two books if they will both be her usual doorstopper size. Can I be that lucky? Oh, I hope so!

I'm just so glad she isn't doing a done to death person! I'm still disappointed that Margaret George is doing Elizabeth 1 this time. I have it on my WL, but I'm still disappointed, lol.

ETA: Which Penman book you you love best? I've been craving a re-read of "Here Be" Dragons", but When Christ and His Saints Slept is my favorite.

That's great news!

Now...I wish someone would write a good long book about Richard "Strongbow" deClare.  Morgan Llywelyn wrote a little short one.  I want a door stopper, preferably by SKP or EC.  Is that too much to ask?

Valli, Saints was my first Penman, but Dragons is my hands down favorite.  The burning bed scene still just cracks me up!  I think it is one of the best scenes ever written.

I was so excited when I read the news on her blog! I can't wait!

My fave Penman book is The Sunne in Splendour.

LOL, Letty! That really is a great scene. All of this talk about Penman is making me want to do some re-reading! I might read a few more books for the challenges, then do a bit of re-reading this summer. Like McCullough, Penman's books need to be read twice. ;-)

"Saints" was also my very first Penman, and I was just so in love with it. Did not want to stop reading!
