Russian History at it's best, the rise and fall of Tsar Nicholas, Tsarina Alexandria and the Monk, Rasputin, who led the downfall of Russia.

The book is very detailed in the time of that era, women's role, society as a whole and polictics ect. I found the book interesting to read.

Lots of pictures and complete family trees of both Tsar and Tsarina.
