Suspenseful and hair raising, this modern sea story follows the relentless search for plunder from the ocean, the source of new wealth in mineral deposits Mike Trevelyan, oceanographer, is searching for his brother, Mark, who he believes has been murdered on a mid Pacific island having made the discovery that several millionaires are on the hunt for, and willing to kill to keep the locations from the other. Mike sets sail with the old commando colleague of his father, and the ex-special forces band determined to find the treasured location in the face of armed and dangerous ships and men sailing towards them in the mid-Pacific range of islands.
Like looking for a needle in a haystack, Mike and his crew travel the sealanes and on to treacherous and uncharted areas where volcanic activity arises as it has for tens of thousands of years, to the charted area they must go to find the new "gold" under the ocean.
