What a wonderful story! The illustrations are simply beautiful. Ms. Manuel uses soft, almost melodic, words to describe how snow feels when it first comes down and touches your face. Every child will wish for snow, and every grown-up will recall the pleasure of standing outside during the first snow of the season with face turned up awaiting to catch a flake. A great read for the classroom, as its quiet words maintain a calming atmosphere. You'll want to keep The Night the Moon Blew Kisses in your library for a long time!
