Her anger, bitterness, fear, all of that had drowned in the deep pools of comfort in this man's eyes. She felt his hands close over her shoulders. For a moment, she drew back, startled by a sharp jolt that coursed through her body, as though his hands were conducting an electrical current. But then she felt a surging warmth, a tingling in her arms and legs, a thrill of readiness in her body... "Then you shall have it- everything". He inclined his head toward her, and she saw his teeth as bright as a dazzling summer day. Their baptismal font was a bloodbath......
